Buckfest has become an annual event for the village of Buckden, St Neots. Buckfest is an annual music festival that supports charities and local talent through the promotion of live music in Cambridgeshire. This year the music festival will be on Saturday 15th July at Buckden Village Club, St Neots. This year’s line-up can be found on the Buckfest website www.buckfest.org, where you can find out more information about the bands that will be performing on the 3 stages throughout the day.
This year Buckfest is delighted to be raising money for The Acorn Cancer Support Group, a fantastic support for local cancer patients and their carer’s as well as free relaxation therapies and social activities. The other partner that Buckfest will be raising money for is Tommy’s Wheels – a Buckden based charity set up in 2016 with the aim of keeping local amputees moving.
Last year the music festival raised an enormous £4,000 to local causes which was the most the festival had donated in any one year previously. Atkins Gregory are proud to be one of the many sponsors this year, and wish the music festival every bit of good luck for the big day.
Entry to Buckfest is via a pre-purchased wristband only. As Buckfest is a licenced event, the numbers are strictly limited. Gates open at 11:30am, music begins at midday, and the festival will come to an end at 22:30.
