Here at Atkins Gregory, we have always acknowledged that we are nothing without our team of dedicated staff, and as such have always paid a competitive wage. So, in 2020, when our client CMR Surgical (producer of Versius, a next-generation surgical robot) told us that they, as part of their ethical company values, were making a commitment that they, and their contractors, will pay all employees at least the Living Wage Foundation’s rate of pay per hour, we were immediately able to confirm compliance.

The Living Wage Foundation’s living wage is currently set at £10.85 in London and £9.50 per hour for the rest of the U.K. If your organisation is eligible, why not become a Living Wage Accredited business? The benefits range from an enhanced reputation to improved recruitment and increased employee motivation. You can see the full list of benefits by clicking here.

CMR Surgical is a British medical technology company based in Cambridge. The company has developed and produced Versius, a robotic surgery system, with the view to make minimal access surgery accessible to every patient around the globe. Atkins Gregory has been working with CMR since the beginning of 2019 and is delighted to support its company values in any way that we can.
