The challenge: Just days before the arrival of hundreds of summer-let students and visitors, the university was let down by its contracted cleaning company. With no time to spare, the university contacted Atkins Gregory for emergency end-of-tenancy cleaning.
The solution: Cleaning student accommodation comes with its own particular challenges, not least the specialist cleaning required for heavy duty areas and tackling rooms that may not have been cleaned by their previous inhabitants for some time.

A work plan was initiated, in consultation with the university facilities management team. Regular communication and harmonised workflows ensured phased return to use in time for the arrival of summer residents.
This initial disaster recovery contract resulted in the facilities manager stating that the end-of-tenancy cleaning was of the highest standard delivered in their longstanding experience.
