As part of our ISO9001:2015 comprehensive Management System, we adhere to a site auditing and inspection programme.

Maintaining the highest standards

Each and every site is inspected by a member of our management team and findings are formally recorded. Feedback, both positive and negative, is given to our operatives and any rework is then inspected upon completion. Audit results are always presented to our customer representatives, in order to gain their feedback and, more importantly, reassure them that we have a real care for their business and its environment.

We understand the importance of the customer and will always demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude. We are committed to working extremely hard at maintaining the highest standards of work to build long term relationships.

Environment

As a registered waste broker, we are experienced in implementing recycling and waste management systems into our daily office cleaning operation, bringing about the obvious benefits to the environment as well as adding value by reducing both labour and consumable costs.

We are also conscious of our impacts on the environment when carrying out other tasks such as window cleaning, carpet cleaning, industrial cleaning and commercial cleaning. Wherever possible, we only use bio-degradable detergents to minimise harmful effects on the environment.

Health & Safety

It doesn’t matter whether we are office cleaning, window cleaning, carpet cleaning, laboratory cleaning, using mechanical scrubber driers, working at height or undertaking any other task, you can rest assured that all activities are correctly documented.

Our teams of operatives all benefit from site- and task-specific training in order to ensure the health, safety and welfare of all our employees and others within the working environment.

We ensure that we are fully compliant with:

Risk Assessments, Method Statements, COSHH Assessments, Electricity at Work, Manual Handling, Accident Reporting, Emergency Procedures, and Employer & Public Liability Insurance.

Compliance

As a company that frequently operates in potentially hazardous environments, it is understandable that at Atkins Gregory we place health and safety at the centre of all our operations. The health and well-being of our cleaning operatives, staff members, clients and the general public is a top priority, which is why we spend so much time, effort and money each year on ensuring our health and safety standards are second to none.

Fully accredited and compliant for every eventuality

Site-specific risk assessments are drawn up before a contract begins, which inform the training our staff receive and ensure full compliance with both our own stringent health and safety policy and all applicable legislation. COSHH assessments are also carried out, along with any other assessments that address additional risks particular to a given contract.

Outside specific contracts, we pride ourselves on delivering on-going training to our staff in the form of internal and external group training sessions, toolbox talks and newsletters. Our team members possess a range of high-level safety certifications, giving us a depth of knowledge and expertise that underpins the trust our clients have in us. Additionally, independent audits are carried out by our Business Compliance Department at all our sites, which assess cleaning operation, site health and safety, training requirements and cleaning standards. Audit reports are then passed to you, our client, to assist in the smooth running of all your cleaning operations.
