Our extensive range of access equipment from scaffolding to harness and ‘Reach and Wash’ systems, make reaching difficult areas no problem. All our customers benefit from a first-rate service and the reassurance that full site assessments are always carried out before any work commences.
On the occasions when alternative access equipment is required, our specialist operators carry IPAF certificates that qualify them to operate cherry pickers. Depending on the task, traditional and modern methods are employed, complying with all the latest health and safety legislation.
Reach and Wash
We’re dedicated to the health and safety of our window cleaning teams. We have therefore recently invested in water-fed pole systems for our Reach & Wash window cleaning teams that means windows can be cleaned from the safety of the ground using long-reaching, telescopic poles.
Not only does this system mean greater safety for our staff, it also provides a better finish. A soft bristled brush is used to scrub the dirt off the glass, whilst jets of pure water rinse the window. As the water used has no impurities, the windows dry to a spot-free finish.
Rope Based Access & Descent Systems
In high rise developments, access by rope provides the only solution for our expert window cleaners. Window Cleaning access is achieved by rope work utilising existing eye bolts and latchway systems or by abseil teams who work from the A Frames which they rig and are part of their mobile equipment.
This highly technical work is carried out by skilled and experienced professionals and as with all other solutions is only undertaken after a risk assessment and method statement has been drawn up, approved and committed to by all parties.
Mobile Elevated Work Platforms
When the scale of the project or the geography of the site requires it Atkins Gregory has access to the full range of MEWP’s capable of dealing with all situations. These allow access to awkward areas where poles can’t reach and provide a stable platform from which more detailed maintenance or work on fragile surfaces can safely take place.
Operatives using this equipment are fully trained and risk assessments and method statements are prepared for every project. Our expert window cleaning team will find a way to clean even the most inaccessible windows.
The system delivers environmental benefits
As just pure clean de-ionised water is all that’s used to clean your windows – no detergents or secret ingredients are added – It’s better for buildings, less likely to decay of paintwork and any spillages won’t damage awnings, flowerbeds, or any other sensitive areas. Any excess water simply evaporates without leaving any marks or stains.
